Sea and Mangrove Kayaking

Experience one of the most unique places at the OSA, where we have certain animals that you are more likely to find there – such as the Cayman, monkeys, basilisk lizards and boas. It is just a 15 minute drive away from town and we’ll go on a 3-4 hour kayaking paddle through the mango forest, being surrounded by the beautiful mangroves and the ocean.

Zip Lining Tour

Conquer your fear on the longest zip line cable at the OSA! We have the longest cable at the OSA and you’ll be able to spot the canopy of the forest! Bird Watching Tour

Surf Lessons

We guaranteed you’ll stand up! Walk to Pan Dulce beach to find a perfect point break for beginners. The surfing instructor will match your ability level to the different waves, making it a great experience for your, whether you are a beginner, medium or advanced surfer. Whether you are 8 or 70, we’ll get you a dream wave on which to have fun. Water temperature is 83F, mid-20C. Lycra surfing shirts and professional soft-top boards provided. Two people minimum required to sign up.

Horseback Riding

Matapalo Monkey Beach & Waterfall half day

Come and discover Cabo Matapalo with our experienced guide, we’ll explore the magical nature of the primary and secondary forest, its rivers, beaches and the waterfalls- one is spectacular 75ft long. We’ll also look out for sloths, toucans, macaws, endemic poison frog – and several species of monkeys.

Chocolate Tour

During the tour at Finca Kobo you’ll be taken through a typical chocolate farm and cocoa forest, and the guides will explain everything about how to grow and harvest chocolate, its history in Costa Rica which goes all the way back to the Mayas and chocolate produce interplays with the environment and the animals. You will also get to know many plants that are traditionally used as natural medicine and many different tropical fruit.

The tour will finish with a little cocoa fruit tasting- and a chocolate fondue with all those exotic fruit! Mmmm yummy!

Diving and Snorkeling at Isla de Caño

Isla del Caño is a snorkel and diving paradise. There are 2 dives or 2-3 snorkel drops included in the tour. The boat drives around different marine areas around Caño Island. Each dive/snorkel is about 45 minutes. Between the first and the second dive, there is a small rest stop with refreshments at Caño Island. On the way back from Caño Island you’ll head San Josecito beach where you’ll have a picnic lunch at the beach. After lunch we travel back to Drake Bay.

Departure: 7:30 am

Return: 1:30pm to 2:30pm
