Osa Trekking Expedition is a combination blending general exploration with a challenging trek to Los Patos.

Delve into a world teeming with extraordinary wildlife during the first 2 days at Sirena Biological Station. This experience is a wildlife lover’s dream come true, offering you unparalleled access to one of the most biodiverse regions on Earth.

On the third day, the adventurous trek to Los Patos is arduous and recommended for people in exceptionally good physical condition with endurance and previous trekking experience.

Between Sirena and Los Patos, the 25-kilometer hike going up and down passing through the center of Corcovado wild primary rain forest usually takes between 8 and 10 hours at a moderate-face pace.

Weather conditions may dictate a further trek upon arrival at Los Patos Station due to potential high river water levels. The adventurous may find themselves embarking on an additional hour’s walk, crossing the river multiple times to reach the road or opting for an additional 2-hour hike uphill to exit the jungle.

This expedition promises encounters with endemic birds, reptiles, amphibians, and the unique flora of Corcovado.
