A Voyage into the Wilderness

Embark upon a journey into the untouched wilderness of Corcovado with the Los Patos One-Day Tour. Your day of exploration begins from Puerto Jiménez, where a 4-wheel drive ushers you through a scenic backroad, with the gentle flow of Rincon River guiding the way toward the heart of Corcovado.

Situated amidst the verdant embrace of the Osa Peninsula, Los Patos unveils a different narrative of Corcovado’s wilderness. Away from the coastal allure, it nestles amidst a blend of primary, pre-montane, and cloud forests, offering a secluded retreat for the discerning trekker enthusiast.

While the wildlife tapestry is more vibrant at La Leona and Sirena, Los Patos biodiverse vegetation is unique in the Osa Peninsula. The dense forest hosts a unique gathering of amphibians and lesser-seen birds, offering a distinct wildlife narrative awaiting your appreciation.

The trail at Los Patos is strenuous through tropical jungles, leading to a hidden waterfall where a freshwater swimming hole awaits after kilometers of up and down hills. It’s a remote spot to pause and revel in nature’s elegance, a quiet retreat amidst the day’s challenging trek.

The Los Patos One-Day Tour is more than a mere excursion; it’s a journey where curated exploration melds seamlessly with the wild essence of Corcovado.
