EXCELLENT Based on 170 reviews celine g2024-07-13Verified Corcovado with Henry, an Exceptional Guide I booked with Osa Green Travel, and thanks to Cindy I had a great day!!! Everything was very well organized. Check-out at the port of puerto Jimenez, where we wait for our Guide Henry, to go to the Sirena. Once there, we had nothing to do , the seats were already booked, as well as the lunch on site 👌 As for Henry... he made us live an incredible day... A passionate Guide, who has eyes EVERYWHERE!!! Besides, he has unending knowledge. He marvels at everything, like us because we have seen a lot of animals that we absolutely would not have seen for ourselves. Funny, happy, it was a great day. For people who do not understand Spanish or English, Henry has a lot of French:) Many thanks to him for this day. Linda S2024-05-27Verified Great tour!!!!! It was the best tour we did during our stay in Panamá and Costa Rica. Thomas was the best guide ever! We enjoyed two days of hiking and one night in Serena. Our kids enjoyed it. Thank you for this once in a lifetime experience! AnneSouthampton2024-05-09Verified Highly recommended. We did a 3 day jungle tour to Sirena station. We had incredible time spotting wildlife. We can highly recommend Osa Green Travel. Everything ran smoothly and the communication was promptly and in good detail. Our guide Carlos was exceptional and helped us to spot wildlife even in difficult hidden places. He helped us capture the most amazing photographs and view animals up closer than ever. Charlotte T2024-05-07Verified Amazing!!! We did the La Sirena one-day tour. Our guide Carlos was AMAZING!!! We could not have had a better experience. Carlos was fantastic at finding animals, and incredible at taking photos through the scope. At the start of our tour, we told Carlos that we really wanted to see a sloth, as we hadn’t seen one yet in Costa Rica. He worked very hard and went out of his way to scan up and down the trail, and he found us a three-toed sloth! It was the most special experience. He also found us all four species of monkey, a tree-porcupine, peccaries (with a baby), a troop of coatis (with many babies), a tamandua, a basilisk lizards, multiple crocodiles, a wooly opossum, multiple trogons, and three tapirs! We even saw dolphins on the boat ride to La Sirena (we were very lucky to see all of this- not necessarily the status quo everyday). As university students and budget travellers, we were nervous about the high price tag, as it was much more than we would ever normally spend. But we walked away feeling like it was so worth it and even gave extra! This was our best day of our three-week trip. The lunch was yummy and vegetarian friendly. I would definitely recommend bringing water-friendly shoes/sandals for getting on and off the boat. The rocks were sharp and burning hot. Overall, fantastic experience. If it’s in your budget, do it! Mathilde2024-04-07Verified 100% recommend, fantastic trip Great experience ! Our guide Angel was fantastic, he shared stories, information about plants/animals and icing on the cake he took great pictures. We managed to see several tapirs and even a puma ! Organization was also great, we were a small group (5) compared to the others (up to 14 people!). We had a tight timing on the return with a boat connection to Sierpe, brillantly managed by Osa Green team and our guide. 100% recommend Joerg K2024-03-31Verified Well organized trip and wonderful experience The trip with Osa Green Travel was absolutely amazing. Cindy (the owner) sent all necessary information, and detailed description of the trip and kept us updated. Our tour guide, also named Cindy was great, she was so nice to our 5 year old boy, explained a lot and made sure we had a great time. We see all animals we (especially our son 😉) hoped for. 100% recommendation!! La Vida M2024-03-23Verified The best experience we had in Costa Rica It was an unforgettable experience, really highly recommended for the treatment we received from both Cindy and Carlos Madrigal (our guide). Some total geniuses!! Joanna T2024-03-10Verified Highly recommend Osa Green travel for Corcovado & Isla del Caño! We booked a 2 day trip to Corcovado and snorkeling in Isla del Caño with Osa Green Travel and both trips were truly amazing. Cindy was great organising both and always quick to respond to our questions and the guides we had were brilliant ensuring we got the most out of our experiences. We highly recommend! Niall2024-02-22Verified Wonderful experience at a competitive price We met our guide Manuel on the beach in Drake Bay and then took the boat to Corcovado. We did a couple hours of hiking and then went to the Sirena station. We had a delicious lunch there and a short nap then went out again for a few hours. We finished the day by watching the sunset at the beach. We spent the night at the station and the following day did another few hours of exploring before heading back to drake bay. During our time we saw loads of animals including sloths, monkeys, tapirs, tucans, caimans, and peccaries. We saw a lot of plant life and had the chance to go inside a massive tree. We had a group of only 4 which made the experience very pleasant. Our guide Manuel was exceptional - very knowledgable/experienced yet understated and extremely helpful. We have both travelled a lot in various countries and found him one of the best guides we have encountered. If you are planning a trip to Corcovado I would recommend going with this company. Note that it is very hot and humid, and spending the night in Sirena station can be uncomfortable due to the heat and large number of people on the dorms. The lodgings and food were as good as could be expected for a remote station like this however. Erica C2024-02-21Verified Tour of a lifetime This was a trip of a lifetime! Carlos was a fantastic guide and helped us to see quite a few animals. Very patient with looking for and identifying animals and could even locate some using scent. He was also very knowledgeable about the local plant life and gave us as much time as we wanted to stop and enjoy what we were seeing. The best part was that he enjoyed it as much as we did! Sirena station has changed a lot over the years and is much more crowded than it used to be. Accommodations were comfortable and the food was great.
